Our purpose is to encourage and support the outward, public expression of Christian faith through sacred music. We do this through:
Our principal focus is to educate musically gifted children and young adults living in Hong Kong in the traditions of sacred organ and choral music. We have relationships with several local and US educational institutions and churches so CAF scholars can develop and exercise their talents in performance, improvisation and composition. We can help suitably talented and motivated Hong Kong students in achieving their Associate and Licentiate diplomas from Trinity College, London. Financial support is available for select, qualified students.
We are ecumenical and will help students learn about music performance and traditions of the liturgical church (i.e. Lutheran, Episcopal and Roman Catholic). Invovlement in contemporary evangelical and "blended" worship helps round out the student's experience.
Christian Arts Foundation is a Hong Kong-based non-profit organization founded in 2005, registered in accordance with the provisions of chapter 151, section 5A(1) of the Societies Ordinance. Certificate of Registration CP/LIC/SO/19/32047
We are non-denominational, united by our belief in the teachings of Christ Jesus as recorded in the Gospels of St. Mark, St. Matthew, St. Luke and St. John.
We have no paid staff and rely solely on the generous contributions of time, talent, money and other forms of support from caring individuals, families, institutions and companies.
